Parea is a newly opened restaurant and bar located next to a beautiful church in the old Turkish quarters in Kyrenia. The location is very central but still the restaurant is secluded and private. Parea Restaurant is influenced by the cultural diversity and long history of the island of Cyprus. The traditional Cypriot house hosting this unique gastropub was restored in 2018 and now welcomes guests to come and dine and drink in the cosy courtyard that the owners themselves call āour peaceful gardenā. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the decor is rustic with a modern touch. Light chains dangle between the lemon and olive trees making for a beautiful scenery when day turns to night. This venture is a continuance by the owners of popular BarBar in Kyrenia harbour. Together with chef Ozgecan Cesur and manager Emir. A. Avci they have now created a space where visitors will be experiencing gastronomy, art, culture and music together. The professional staff is friendly and helpful and the motto here is āto combine local products with international presentations and tastesā. The cuisine is Italian, French and Spanish with blends of tastes from Balkan and the Middle East. The extensive wine menu accompanies the many menu options including full tapas and beautiful cheese platters. Parea Bar is a perfect spot for those who look for alternative bar foods. Every day from 16:00 to 01:00 you can enjoy selected wines, beers and delicious cocktails with the food of your choice. Hangover breakfast can be ordered on weekends and Sundays offer brunch from 10:00-15:00.
