Surrounded by greenery and embraced by the incoming waves from the ocean, Akdeniz Beach is a sight for sore eyes. This is also a place of importance historically. The nearby village is the site of the Swedish Cyprus Expedition excavations that took place in 1929, where 2000 clay figures from the Bronze Age was found. Today Akdeniz Beach is a popular site for surfing due to its good conditions with its location on the West Coast. There is also a lovely restaurant with stunning views over the magnificent sea.
